Workbench Compugraphic Fonts 1 (Created November 25, 1992)
----------------------------------------------------------
These fonts have been converted from Postscript Type 1 format
using Gold Disk's FontManager. Use Commodore's Fountain utility
in the 'System' drawer to convert them to Workbench 2.0
compugraphic format. The documentation for Fountain is found in
Appendix D of the Release 2 'Using the System Software' manual.
This first set consists of display typefaces suitable for
announcements, advertisements, etc. The supplied fonts are:
BalletEngraved Fancy Broadway or Marquee typeface
MarkerFeltThin Handwritten fine point felt tip marker
OregonDry Bold non-cursive brushstrokes
ReliefDeco Squarish embossed look
TejaratchiCaps Raised quasi-metallic letters
Tribeca Bold Art Deco typeface commonly used on
paperback editions of mysteries
Where possible I have included the original text files that
accompanied the fonts. You should ignore those comments which
refer to installation procedures for Windows, Macintosh or other
systems.
Software that uses these fonts properly will rescale them to your
printer's resolution with no 'jaggies'. To date, the only word
processor I know of to do this is ProWrite 3.2 or above.
Excellence! version 3.0 DOES NOT print out compugraphic fonts at
better than screen resolution, though it can use the bitmapped
screen versions.
Enjoy!
